Bid Book Book3 Security Single Management Structure

A single management structure (coordination centre) led by the RF Ministry of the Interior will be created to provide for higher security efficiency during the Olympic Games in Moscow. Holding full command of all available human and technical resources, the single management structure will proactively involve all main agencies and services concerned, as well as the Moscow City Government and the Moscow OCOG Security Department. In particular, the latter will be responsible for the proper interface between the single structure and the IOC and sports delegations.

The formation of the single management structures that coordinate resources and security interaction is legally permitted in Russia and is a usual practice for major international and national events.

Russian authorities have substantial experience in this field, and this serves as an extra guarantee of their activities during the Olympic Games.
