Tendering process

The design and construction of all new competition and non-competition venues will be carried out through a tendering process managed by the Moscow City Government Tenders and Auctions Committee. The bidding procedure, timelines and selection of contractors, as well as protest and appeal procedures and environmental impact assessments are regulated by the Moscow City legislation. Foreign companies are welcomed to submit tenders.

Selection of contractors to execute modification works at the city’s sport venues will be also held through tendering. As regards the privately-owned venues, their modifications may be implemented both via bidding or without inviting tenders. In either case, owners are committed to follow the related Moscow City legislation.
